I have read it. When in fellowship, I will follow the rules. However, the combat rules posted here are very limiting and do not account for higher level traiting. S - If you are experienced enough to comment on that, then you should understand that half those ''rules'' are only introductory guidelines for those not so experienced, especially the class/roles. A LoreMaster could (for a short while) use their animal Companion to serve in the role of "Tank" - won't last as long as a Guardian, but "long enough" is all you need, neh? However, things like farming craft resources, or deciding to go soloing, or pulling aggro away from the tank - those are fairly inarguable. So not all are fascist absolutes, but wisdom of experience, general expectations, common courtesy, and good "rules of thumb". If you can convince/prove to your Fellowship that, in the given situation, that coloring outside those expected lines will work, then more power to ya. (Just make sure you can walk your talk! ;D )

I like it, and I agree. The most successful runs are when the Fellowship (party) respects and acts accordingly. I cannot tell you how in other games I just gave up on PUG's or random groups because of nit-wits...

Read and understood. I have yet to be in a fellowship and an unfamiliar with the mechanics of aggro stealing, but as a champion, would it make the most sense for me to spread my attacks among 2 or 3 mobs to ensure the tank keeps a lock?

Pretty standard MMO stuff there, but I am happy to have read it and only too happy to comply. That's good communication there.
