The Bounders of the Shire, with the help of the Dampdale Cartography Society, are hosting a Moria map viewing on Friday, June 13th.
The viewing will take place at the Cartography Society's kinsmial at 2 Chalk Rd, Dampdale, Shire Homesteads. It's the first smial to your right as you walk through the gate.
Doors open at 9pm, but feel free to drop by any time that evening/night.
Pie and drinks will be served.
((For non hobbit vocabularied folks, a smial is the hobbit word for house. All Bounder events are posted in Bywater Time, which is servertime/Eastern. If you're not in ET yourself, when in game you can always check servertime by typing /servertime in your chat box.
The purpose of the viewing is to help folks complete their Cartographile--Moria deed based on the decoration maps found at festivals. Details
Attendees will have the ability to take the maps off the wall and put them in their bags for it to count towards the deed before putting them back up on the wall again for others to view. If you are not familiar with how house decorations work, ask any Bounder or Cartographer in attendance.
When you "view" all of them, you get the title "Moria Cartographile", 10 Turbine Points and a house decoration Map of Moria (large wall).
This is a casual RP social event.
If you don't RP, but would like to attend for the points, please refrain from real world topic chatter in the say channel while in attendance.))

Is there a minimum level required? Muinel is still in her late 10's, I could reach low 20 for tomorrow and I have Moria Expansion but she would need protection.

I don't know of a minimum. My alt Daffy is a perma 10, and she finished the deed easy-peasy.
Come to think of it, my F2Ps who don't have the MoM quest packs or expansion can finish the deed as well. The maps come from festivals, so maybe that's why. (It gets listed under your social tab in the deed log.)
The only quick TP gain I know of that's gated is the pages from the Forsaken Cellar. You have to be 20 min (I think you have to at least complete the skirmish training quest, but I haven't tested it otherwise yet), and the account the character is on has to have bought the Forsaken Cellar instance or be a VIP account.
I look forward to seeing you there! Well, Daffy will be there. Heid will be off acquiring goods in Moria, as she is wont to do lately.

The Moria maps can also be found in one of our kin house storage chests (don't remember which house though, ask Faral or any officer when online). A few of the Eriador maps are there too but not all of them.

There are actual map items? I thought it was a deed of exploration or something.

Update: By matters of chance, the doors are already open, the keg in the back room is tapped, and a lot of folks have passed through already today. So if you thought you couldn't go later, but could have if it started earlier...you can! ((Speaking of which, I better get back since we didn't plan on folks acting as helpers this early.)
I also realized today that you also get marks for the deed, so four rewards just for hanging out and staring at the walls. *laughs*

We didn't realize it right away, but someone put a Moria Map (the deed reward map) up on the wall that wasn't there before. If you attended the viewing and don't have your deed reward map, please let Daffodilia know through Quick Post and she'll be happy to send it back to you.
