Hi there! Glad to have found out about The Alliance from chatting a while to Herebrand in game. Thank you for inviting me! I'm fairly new to LOTRO (believe it or not ) and have been passively scouting around for a kinship to call home for few weeks. Despite being fairly new to the game I've played through a lot of MMO's in the past since I started with Everquest back in the days. I'll try my best not to let anyone down with my lack of experience in the game! I'm a big Toliken fan although not a purist or a fanatic. Read the books some 6-7 times, saw the movies, loved it all. My father read the trilogy to me before I could read it myself and I think I was always an 'Eowyn' in my heart since that moment My main character is a runekeeper but I've been playing around with a lot of alts and a lot of crafting spread out over said alts. I have roleplayed a fair bit in the past but haven't been very deep into it in a few years. I do however like to RP and will participate when the opportunity presents itself. On a personal note, I'm from Sweden and on CET zone. For those (most) of you who are overseas, I hope to see you at least on the weekends! See you in Middle Earth, Amalihn (and yes, I managed to have some bad luck spelling my name when applying to the website, bummer )

Hi Amalihn, welcome to the family! Do not worry about being new, everyone has to start learning at some point and you'll find that LOTRO has a very helpful and friendly player base (if you haven't found out yet), and the Alliance is one of the most friendly and helpful kins in the game! If you have a question of any kind, please feel free to ask your kinmates. There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers! Unfortunately, I don't have much time to play lately due to my thesis (deadline in 3 weeks), but I still sometimes log on and after my deadline you should see me a lot more in-game. I'm from Belgium, so I play during your afternoon/evening times (as well as US evening times as I several members already know, even though I shouldn't... ) Take care and have fun!
