Hi folks
I started to work on this post a few days ago already, but by accidentally clicking the wrong button I lost my entire post and I wasn't really in the mood to start all over... So apologies for the delay, but this week was a busy one and I'm afraid the next months will be quite busy as well.
About the sales: they're focused on crafting this week. You get 25% on these items:
That's it for the weekly sales, but there is more! The weekly freebie this time: Max Morale & Power Scroll x5 can be obtained for free by applying the coupon code BOOST3.
Other than that, only yesterday until tomorrow (Feb 21-23), you can get character slots at a 20% discount, so hurry if you are planning to buy one because they don't go on sale that often.
And finally, there is also another temporary offer available until March 6: the Gift of the Valar is back in the Store. It was available in December 2013 too, so here's a quote from my post of that week to explain what it is exactly:
Turbine also launched something new that will be available in the LOTRO Store from December 13-19, called the Gift of the Valar pack. It will cost 4995TP and will get you these items:
I'd strongly advise not to buy this pack except if you already have some experience with the game. If you skip the first 50 levels, you don't know yet how to play your class which is fundamental for playing your group role decently, and if you then decide you don't like that class you just wasted a huge amount of TP.

About the sales: they're focused on crafting this week. You get 25% on these items:
- Ingredient Packs: These items allow you to execute crafting recipes without having the needed materials. They can be used for all tiers except the last, but recipes that require more materials than others will also require more ingredient packs. A downside is that the crafted items will be bound to your character upon creation, so you can't use ingredient packs to craft something for a friend.
- Crafting Guild Access: This item is not needed as long as you are VIP, but those who are F2P or premium cannot advance their crafting guild status beyond "Apprentice of the Guild" without buying access. You'll need to purchase access to each separate guild to advance in them, but at least the access is account-bound and not character-bound. That means, if you buy weaponsmith access on one toon, you won't have to buy it on another toon anymore. You will have to buy access for any other crafting guild though. Note that access will not be taken away from you if you advanced when VIP and then drop back to premium. You will keep your access to all acquired guild services, but you will have to purchase access when a new tier is released with another expansion if you want to progress your status to the new maximum.
- Craft Experience Boosts: Does it take you ages to finish a crafting tier, or do you just want to master it as fast as you can with as few mats as possible? The craft XP boosts will increase the XP you receive by 25%, 50% or 100% on all recipes executed within a certain time window. Note that this does not work for prospector, forester or farmer recipes.
- Rapid Crafting Boosts: These items will increase your crafting speed by reducing the induction time to 0.5 seconds for 1 minute. Very nice if you have to process large amounts of materials, for example when mastering a tier after you just spent 4 hours mining 250 chunks of ore.
- Complete Crafting Tiers: Got loads of TP you don't know what to spend on, and need to work on your crafting to get it to your level? This item will complete the tier instantly upon purchase. Available for all professions, and for tiers apprentice - Eastemnet.
- Recipe Books: These items will grant you all recipes for a certain tier (except for the guild recipes and the single use recipes), so you don't have to collect them all by yourself.
