Hi all!
I know I'm several days late, but as some of you know I was in France for a snowboarding trip until yesterday, and when I got back home, my internet didn't work because some clown had stolen the cable that connected the router to my room! Anyways, I'm back now, and even though I probably won't have as much gaming time now due to my internship, I hope to post the sales in time again from now on
Enough jibber jabber... You only have 4 days left to get these items at a 25% discount:
That's the sales. Next up is the weekly freebie, which is a Rapid Crafting Boost (1min) x3, use CRAFT3 to get them for free!
Since a new month has started, the monthly mount offers have changed as well. Throughout February, you can purchase the Westfold Steed, Steed of the Khundolar, Steed of Rhûn and Steed of the Lore-Master from the Store.
Enough of that for a while, I'm gonna log in... It's been way too long! See you in-game!

Enough jibber jabber... You only have 4 days left to get these items at a 25% discount:
- Monster Classes: When your first character reaches level 10, your account get access to monster play. You can access monster play by hitting a big button "Monster Play" (duh) on the character selection screen (should be right under the button for the LOTRO Store). Monster play allows you to play as a monster class in the Ettenmoors (the only area where PvP is possible). There are 6 possible monster classes, and you can have 1 of each on every server, but only the Reaver is freely accessible. You have to be VIP or purchase the other classes to get access to them.
- Monster Traits: Since monster characters are always at the level cap, and there is only 1 area for PvP, there is no leveling or deeding to increase your monster's prowess. However, you can gain infamy points by completing quests and killing free people characters (only VIP characters within 5 levels of the level cap have access to monster play on Freep side, however there is a pretty good chance that we'll be able to purchase passes in the Store in the future that will grant access to non-VIPs as well). When you gained enough infamy points, your rank will increase. Almost every rank you gain will unlock new skills and traits you can buy from your monster trainer. However, if you don't want to spend hours of working on your rank and collecting enough commendations to buy these, you can also buy traits from the LOTRO Store.
- Monster Skills: Same as above, monster skills can be purchased in the Store if you're too impatient to work for them in-game.
- Milestone Skills: Every character will get a milestone skill upon completing the introduction quests. This skill allows you to travel to a specific destination within seconds for free, with a cooldown of 1 hour. The destination can be changed by using milestones that you can find throughout Middle-Earth (most towns and villages or camps have one). You can purchase up to 5 more of these milestone skills from the store, allowing you to travel all over the map without too much worries. This purchase is character-bound.
- Hurried Traveler: This purchase will reduce the cooldown of all your milestone and "return to" skills from 1 hour to 30 minutes. This too is a permanent, character-bound purchase.
