Hi folks, I haven't been ingame a lot the past couple weeks because I have been having a lot of trouble with my back. Some of you have heard me talk about my herniated disc in Kinchat. Well, the bulge is gigantic, and I am going to have surgery to fix it within the next week or so. Not sure when after that I will be ingame. I just can't stand any position that will allow me to play comfortably right now. Thank you to everyone for the prayers and well-wishes... I know they have been helping me endure this. I will come back to you all as soon as I can. Be good to one another and go easy on Faral  ~Bookwerm~ |

I am alive! Just got home from my overnight post-op stay an hour or so ago. All set up in bed with the laptop today. Waiting for pain meds to get filled and brought home to me. Got a very very tender spot at the lower center of my back. Going to be a few weeks (6 or so) of healing, but the surgery went well and I had some very nice nurses taking care of me afterward. Now poor Vendla gets to play nurse a while longer.... but she doesn't mind.... I'm very lucky to have such a wonderful mommy Thank you all for your prayers... they helped keep me together physically and emotionally through what was a very trying and tiring ordeal for me. I may pop ingame soon to say hello, but I won't be tending to any officering duties or doing any organized hunting/grouping for a while. I need to avoid stress while I am healing.
