The whole reason any of us joined a Kinship to begin with is for companionship, people to do things with, people to help and receive help from.
Officers, and especially our Leader, Faral, work very hard and sacrifice a good amount of their own play time for the betterment and growth of our Kin.
While Officers signed up for the job with the goal to help our Kin members any way they could, there are limits and etiquette to keep in mind.
Someone once said "Don't ask others to do for you what you can do for yourself".. and I think that is a generally good rule of thumb.
Before you ask someone to help you with a solo quest, attempt it on your own. You may be surprised at your own abilities.
Before you ask someone to look up information for you on the net, try finding it yourself.. most everything you would want to find about LOTRO can be found at either of these websites...
www.lotro-wiki.com or forums.lotro.com/forumlist.php
If you are still unable to find the information you are seeking, then we would of course be more than happy to help you.
And !MOST IMPORTANT!.... before you ask somebody to help you with a quest, look at the Kin page ingame to see if they are in a Fellowship already... if they are, you are simply going to have to wait until they are finished with the task they are already involved in, otherwise you can check on the LFF (Looking For Fellowship) channel by typing /joinchannel LFF and when finished type /leavechannel LFF.. or advertise for help in the Regional channels.
We need to keep in mind that we all, including Officers, and especially Faral (because he works insane hours, volunteers after work, and has very little personal playtime due to his recruitment duties) are here to help you, not serve you.
Thank you.
