I love Rivendell and Caras Galadhon. My reaction upon seeing each place for the first time was more or less "Can I please live here?" As for places that aren't in the game yet, I'd like to visit Mithlond. Or really, anywhere I can catch my first proper glimpse of Belegaer.

On more than one occasion, I've looked at the Downs Gate in Michel Delving and thought "I wish that was open". If you took that path, it would lead you into the Far Downs and out of the Shire, along quiet roads and past ancient Elf-towers until coming at last to the Grey Havens (Mithlond), where Cirdan the Shipwright awaits you.

Wow no one wants Minas Tirith/Minas Morgul? Thats Heartbreaking......... But my favourite place??? undoubtedly Ered Luin, especially Eastern Side, It has a true Elven Country feel to it.... Rivendell i love too, and also i wish to see Mordor once (just to see how they make it, ofcourse!)

Now we're in Rohan, what comes next really will get epic. Western Rohan with Edoras, Dunharrow and Helm's Deep. The Paths of the Dead. The Halifirien on the borders of Gondor. Anorien. Druadan Forest. Cair Andros. Osgiliath. MINAS TIRITH! And so much more once you cross the Anduin...I cannot wait :-D

Seems quite far away tho Too bad games take so long to create, but on the brighter side we may even get session plays for the various wars fought in the regions mentioned by herebrand..... or perhaps we could fight those wars in groups bigger than raids??? who knows?? the LOTRO team may even find some new mechanics for tht! (i really mean tht, i'm not mocking but i thnk it feels so ) Altho i'd like to see Dale and Erebor too!

A challenge for the devs will be avoiding making Mordor a carbon copy of Angmar. I can't wait to pass the Black Gates, or even stand before the Sammath Naur, if I get so far. However, according to the lore, "those who pass the gates of Barad Dur do not return."

Tough job, But "we" here doesn't actually fit into the lore, does it??? Also i'd definitely like playing the session play/instance of Helm's deep, or the battle isengard (Ent version) or even the battle Of the Fields Of Pelennor (where we choose whether we join the rohirrim or the ppl of Gondor) and so on... And i thnk creep classes have more potential than playing in the ettenmoors only, perhaps they can play as the opposite side in one of the battles?? Lol this game has soooo much potential.... Can't wait to see what comes next!!

I'll be honest, I cried the first time I came to Rivendell. Even now, when I drop in for one quest or another, I find myself switching to a prettier costume, a fancier (if slower) horse... just seems more appropriate!
Oddly though, the area I'm really enjoying is Evendim. Whether it is or not, it feels like the far end of the world out there, and it all just strikes me as... coldly peaceful, if that makes any sense. The same feeling as when you're camping and you wake up really early in the morning, where everything is damp and cold and quiet. (Even the presence of what I can only call Lovecraftian horror-beasts doesn't diminish that!) I find myself almost begrudging quests that take me to other areas, and itching to get back to quests there!
