I twas but a young las being only 30, running up and down the road near Bywater, when I heard the most beautiful melody humming through the wind.
I stopped running and started to look for the source of this wondeful music. I climbed a hill and on the other side of the hill was a beautiful elf Lady. I was shocked having only heard stories of their beauty, and could only stand still at the beauty of the elf enthralled by her music.
I can still clearly remember her long flowing hair with flowers in it. I remember her dark green clothes, and the fact that she wore no shoes. It is a memory I keep for times that I feel sad to liven me up.
But back to my story, I was enthralled by her music and beauty I could not move while she played after seeing her. She finished her song and told me to come and sit by her. I abliged most happily.
I finally worked up the courage to ask if I could see the beautiful lute. She chuckled and told me of course I could. She handed the lute to me and asked me to play a happy tune of the shire.
I played a few notes on the lute to make sure it sounded the same as the one I owned. I quickly worked up the courage to start playing. She must have used magic on me because it was the best I had ever played. The notes all rang true, the chords came so naturally, the words seemed to flow perfectly. I still to this day have not played a song as perfectly as that day.
She said I was a natural and would learn on my own in time how to be a spectacular bard. I asked her what a Bard was and she talked with me all afternoon and taught me several things about being a Bard.
I learned my first skills as a bard. She told me that she had to leave and that I should continue on my way, only when she was out of sight did I realize she had left the lute with me. I continued over the hill into The Green Hill Country to go visit a friend.
I ran into Frodo and his gardner sam along the rode with them was one of my friends Pippin Took, whom I think is dreamy. And then all of a sudden something so dark and terrible came by asking about Frodo.
That is another story in of itself though and don't wish to tell to many of my tales too quickly, lest ye get tired of my storytelling.
