I'll also try to post what i know about them...... Feel free to post and as you do, i'll Keep modifying the reserved spaces so if any1 wants, they can find the info easily...... Hope it helps..... PS:: In the below posts, gathering professions glow in the Usual Red, others are blue (don't know how it helps tho )

[glow=blue,1,300]Scholar[/glow] For this Profession, the usual impression is that it is too tough to find mats for , and even less quantity of these go for a very high price.... Enjoy!, its a very good way to earn money.Tier 1::- Node: Shattered Pitcher Mats:- 1) Early third age relics 2) Worn tablet Fragments 3) Aged scrap of texts 4) Mastery: Dim Candle
As for this tier, its good to have a horse, otherwise it takes too much time, but its still worth the effort, u could bag about 7-8 nodes in 10 mins (if u have a horse) i guess. i dont have an accurate map but i thnk u can google and find a map of Breeland with the names and locations of ruins in it if u do, Here's the path to follow (Advice- be overlevelled):- The Crumbled Court - Blackwold Headquarters(there are two here, with tracking on, go to the west side, thn the east side) - (these ruins don't have a name But this is the midpoint of them in chetwood north - 27.0S, 43.1W) - Woodsedge Ruins - Marshwater fort (try moving from Woodsedge ruins to them u'll see an extra one in the way) There that bags quite a lot of mats. In an hour or two u should be a master from no xp ( i thnk ) Tier 2::- Node: Broken Urn Mats:- 1) Cryptic Texts 2) Ruined second age trinkets 3) Mastery: Rushlight's candle
Actually this has no big rotation, but the best bet is the northern barrowdowns. Keep killing monsters (they frequently drop mats here), and ofcourse be a bit overlevelled so it goes (a bit) easy. Keep Alternating between the Barrow of Ringdor, The dead spire and Haudh Menerthil. This will also Grant some tier 3 mats and if you are going for mastery, you wil be able to collect them. Tier 3::- Node: Antique Vase Mats:- 1) Faded Sindarin pages 2) Torn Craftsman's Journals 3) Cracked Dwarf Carvings 4) Mastery: Beeswax CandleThank Bedelia for this 1 guys, a great find! Apparently (also checked) if u look at the map of the lonelands, u'll see some ruins to the south, almost halfway and little to the west. They go by the name of mithrenost, but the map doesn't display it. Anyway lots of dourhands there. They ruins themselves are at a height and to go up, the way is a little to the east of thm, they hav 2-3 nodes of scholar mats and there's a door which leads to an underground worksite of the dourhands where they are apparently working around a waterfall like thng. the cave itself contains 4-5 nodes, but small advice again..... Just try to be overlevelled! Tier 4::- Node: Forgotten Text Mats:- 1) Fragment Of Dunedain Script 2) Relic of lothlorien 3) Mastery: Tallow candleThey are most abundantly found in ruins in southwestern Harloeg (southeastern lone lands), And in Garth agarwen\Agamaur in the noarthern lonelands. Also, if you hunted creatures in Haudh Iarchith (central Southern barrowdowns), you should have already had some of them. Tier 5::- Haudh Iarchith! Many creatyures here drop scholar mats of this tier, so keep an eye out... Reserved for scholar

[glow=red,2,300]Prospector[/glow] This is actually one of the easier professions, atleast at low levels (never been higher than expert) But here's it is::-Tier 1::- Here's the 1st pearl of wisdom: If you are in Ered Luin, GO TO BREELAND!! Elves and Dwarves living there since ages have already emptied it (well Almost) of resources.... So whatever are you doing there??? For breelanders: Nothing Truly. Okay First off: don't dispair if you don't find tin, its scarce anyway (till you are in Chetwood North). If you do, go to Midgewater marshes (particularly the part east of Marshwater fort) and i bet u'll feel the other way round. So there's it, Keep alternating between Chetwood North (for copper) and Midgewater Marshes (for tin) and you'll be well off. Tier 2::- This 1s easy too. Draw a straight Line from Bree to The Brigand's Watch. Then tilt the map till the line becomes completely Vertical and the area both West and East (and as far north as Cirith Nur) of it is your "Best Bet"... Not to mention the Barrowdowns. And don't Forget.... Be Overlevelled! Reserved for Prospector

Good idea for a post. It's good to have a list of locations people can find materials. Thank you for contributing to the forums.
It's true that Scholar gets challenging the higher in tiers you go. I have only been able to locate a few Westfold nodes in Eregion. I believe there are some in Dunland, but you must be around level 60 to move around there safely.
